Your profile
Update your photo, personal details and contact information, and request a change to the fields your school controls.
Profile holds your personal and contact details. Some of it you can edit yourself, and some of it your school owns. The form makes the difference visible rather than leaving you guessing.
What is on the page
Your photo sits at the top, uploadable from your device. Below it the fields are split into two sections.
| Section | Fields |
|---|---|
| Personal | First name, Last name, Gender, Date of birth, Place of birth, ID number |
| Contact and address | Phone, Country, Region, City, Address |
Country, Region and City work as a chain: choosing a country loads its regions, and choosing a region loads its cities. Changing the country higher up clears what was chosen below it, because those choices no longer make sense.
Editing
Change what you need and select Save changes. A bar appears while you have unsaved work, and it tells you if something needs fixing before the save can go through. Cancel discards your edits.
You are warned before losing unsaved edits
Navigating away or closing the tab with unsaved changes prompts you to confirm first, so a half-finished edit is not lost by accident.
Fields your school controls
Which fields you may edit is set by your school, so two students at different schools can see different things locked. A locked field is marked as managed by your school and shows its current value read-only. Where nothing has been recorded it reads Not set.
Select Request change
Every locked field has this option next to it.
Enter the value you want
Type the correct value, then select Send request.
Wait for review
The field is marked Pending review and your request goes to staff. You can withdraw it with Cancel request at any point before they act on it.
Once staff apply the change, the field shows the new value and the pending mark disappears.
Your email address is not editable here
Email is shown but is not one of the fields you can edit or request a change to. Because it is how you sign in, changing it has to be done by your school.
What is not on this page
- No password field. To change your password, use Forgot Password on the sign-in page. See Activating your account.
- No Settings page. The language switch is in your account menu, next to Profile. There is no notification preference screen in this version.
Troubleshooting
That field is managed by your school. Use Request change beside it. There is no way to edit it directly, and there is no need to email anyone separately.
Requests are reviewed by staff, not applied automatically. If it has been sitting for a long time, cancel it and ask your school's administration directly.
Cities load from the region you selected, and regions from the country. If the city is missing, check the region above it is right. Where a city genuinely is not listed, put the detail in Address instead.
The bar at the bottom tells you when something needs fixing before the form can save. Look for a field marked with an error, correct it, and save again.
