Home
Your Home screen gathers this week's timetable, the work that is due, your attendance and the latest news from your courses on one page.
Home is where you land after signing in. It answers one question: what needs me right now. Everything on it is a summary of something you can open in full elsewhere, so nothing here is the only copy of anything.

Attendance
Your greeting
The top of the page shows today's full date, then greets you by first name. The greeting changes with the time on your device: Good morning until noon, Good afternoon until 17:00, and Good evening after that.
The live banner
When a lecture is about to start or is running, a dark banner appears above everything else with its title, the course, the teachers and the room.
- Before it starts you see Starting in {minutes} min next to an amber dot.
- Once it has started you see Live now next to a pulsing red dot.
- The button is Join for an online lecture and Go to lecture for one in a room.
The banner opens a little before the start time
You do not have to wait for the clock to hit the exact minute. The banner appears during a short lead-in window before the start and disappears when the lecture ends. If there is no banner, nothing is inside that window right now.
The banner only shows events it can actually open for you: any online event, and in-person lectures that belong to one of your courses. An in-person exam or meetup has no page to send you to yet, so it stays off the banner and lives in This week instead.
This week
The card titled This week is your timetable, not just today.
- Seven day buttons run Monday to Sunday. Today is filled in. Move to another day and today is labelled Today, so you can find your way back.
- A dot under a date means that day has something on it.
- Select any day to see its events underneath. The card opens on today.
- Full schedule in the card header opens the whole schedule.
Each row shows the start time, the course colour, the title, then the course, teachers and duration. An Online chip marks an online lecture and a room name marks an in-person one.
On today only, rows carry a state:
| Tag | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Now | Happening at this moment |
| In {minutes} min | Starting within the hour |
| Ended | Finished, and the row is dimmed |
Only lectures open from here
Selecting a lecture row opens that lecture. Exams, meetups and other events are listed so you know they are happening, but they have no detail page in this version, so their rows do nothing.
The card refreshes itself every five minutes, so a lecture that goes live while you have the page open will start showing as Now without a reload.
What needs your attention
Two cards on the right rail collect the work in front of you.
Upcoming Exams
Midterm

Final

Pending Assignments lists coursework that is still open, newest deadline first, with the due date on the right. Upcoming Exams lists exams with the duration, the date and time, an Online chip when it is a virtual exam, and how many days away it is. Both colour the figure on the right red when the deadline is today, tomorrow or past, and amber when it is within three days.
When there is no open coursework, Pending Assignments says you are all caught up. When no exams are scheduled, Upcoming Exams says so.
These rows do not open the assignment or the exam
Taking an assignment or sitting an online exam has not been built into this version of EasyClass yet. Selecting a row opens a small note saying so, with a link to the classic version of EasyClass, where you can still do the work. The lists here are for keeping track of what is due, not for handing it in.
Attendance
The Attendance card shows a percentage ring for your present rate across all courses, then a breakdown:
| Row | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Present | Lectures you attended |
| Late | Lectures you attended late |
| Absent | Excused absences, unexcused absences and expulsions added together |
When your school records absence in hours, a line underneath shows the total hours you have missed. If nobody has taken attendance for you yet, the card says there is no attendance data.
Per-course attendance, including how close you are to any absence limit, lives on the course itself. See Inside a course.
Recent grades and materials
Recent Grades lists the latest marks with the course and the value out of its scale, plus how long ago it was published. Grades appear here only once your teacher shares them, so a mark you know exists may not be visible yet.
Recent Materials lists the newest files shared across all your courses with the file type, the course and the size. Selecting a row downloads the file immediately. If a download fails to start, the page tells you and you can try again. One course's full shelf is on its Materials tab.
Announcements and discussions
Recent Announcements shows the five newest announcements. Unread ones sit on a blue tint with a blue bar down the left, so you can see at a glance what you have not read. Each row carries the author, a badge for who the announcement was sent to, and an Urgent badge when it is marked urgent. View all opens Announcements.
Latest Threads shows the five newest forum threads across your courses, with the author, the course and either the reply count or, for questions, whether they have been Answered. View all opens the forum.
